Workers representatives to Ntungamo district council have this morning been sworn in at Ntungamo district council hall.
The swearing in was in a council session presided over by the district speaker Elijah Atuhaire who cautioned the councilors against fronting personal interests instead of ensuring that the views of the people they represent are brought to the attention of the council.

Farmers in Ntungamo Sub County have been urged to embrace modern post-harvest handling practices in a bid to get better quality produce and better prices.
The call was made by Albert Mugabe the Ntungamo district production officer while speaking to local leaders during a one day sensitization workshop on the Agriculture Cluster Development Program at Ntungamo district council hall.

Ntungamo Municipality has received a brand new ambulance registration number UBD 698V courtesy of the Japanese government.
The Ambulance worth 350 million shillings will be stationed at Ntungamo Municipal Health Centre IV.
While receiving the Ambulance on Tuesday, the Ntungamo Municipality town clerk Christopher Ahimbisibwe commended the Japanese Embassy in Uganda for intervening to save lives.
