Ntungamo RDC calls for improved monitoring of health services

Ntungamo resident district commissioner David Kaboyo has challenged in charges of health centers in Ntungamo to improve on their commitment to monitor service delivery and ensure that there are clear duty roasters so that those to cover duty shifts are clear including weekends and night shifts.
Kaboyo revealed that the move will lead to increased uptake of health services and better health service delivery.
Kaboyo was on Tuesday speaking at a meeting of in charges of the health centers in Ntungamo district held at Ntungamo Resort hotel in Ntungamo municipality.
He further commended the health workers in the country for their tireless efforts which he says have convinced the president to think about fully reopening the economy.
Ntungamo secretary for health Bibian Kakinoni who also doubles as the female councilor for Itojo sub county called on health workers in the district to double their efforts in ensuring that the COVID-19 pandemic does not spread further.
Kakinon also Requested the health workers to renew their commitments to service delivery, love their profession as per God's calling and improve on team work. She added the district executive committee will be making impromptu visits to health facilities in a bid to improve health service delivery.
